This concludes the first of the four episodes of this story. I do hope that you have enjoyed the first one and perhaps reflected on your own childhood in the context of were you are today ; and as one gets older it is always nice to revisit it once again from a different perceptive as life seems to recycle some of its insights and perceptions of a time that once was.

Please feel free to let others know about this story. I am sure there maybe some errors in some facts and names, and perhaps not written correctly and hopefully in time these mistakes will be corrected.

The second episode with the working title: The White Porch: Fall of the Father will look at the period from when he arrived in Canada in 1963, so in effect when he stepped off the ship in Montreal and on his onward journey to Toronto, Canada. This period will be broken into two acts which stem from 1963 to 1974 and from 1974 until 1984 – both of these acts will cover the 60’s and the start of the 80’s – each story interwoven with his growth from the coming of age to the embryo of fatherhood. At this time I have only touched on the beginning of this story and the rest is in my minds concubine and this needs to evolve with ideas and of course the time to do it in.

I may add that the third episode is almost complete but needs to be refined, however, that may not be published until the second episode is finished. The fourth is much the same as the second episode – started , but no were completed. So in effect this bloc will be on hold for several months or more before there is a new addition.

Thank you for taking the time to read this story and I hope that you have enjoyed it and that you have been given the taste of the times and the events and experiences of childhood in Liverpool, England and of course a little savory of Ontario, Canada.
